Assistant Editor wanted to support the work of the Senior Publisher in commissioning and publishing local history books. Experience welcomed although full training will be given to the right candidate. Requires enthusiasm and confidence. Must be educated to degree standard. Closing date Friday 24 February 2012. Sales Representatives
Amberley Publishing require sales representatives to cover all parts of the country selling our growing list of Local History books. The successful candidates will be tenacious, self reliant and well organised. Previous sales experience would be useful but is not essential as full training will be given. Freelance Sales Representatives
We are always interesting to hear from people who may be offer freelance sales services on a commission only basis. While we do have our own sales force, anyone who can tap into markets that we do not penetrate is welcome to get in touch. In particular, we are always on the lookout for people looking to merchandise our books into non-bookshop outlets in larger cities, particularly London and Birmingham.. Warehouse Operative
Warehouse Operative to assist in the overall despatch of customer and trade orders. Experience welcomed although full training will be given to the right candidate. The position is to cover holiday and busy periods throughout the year. For more information please e-mail: Stuart Taylor.
Work Experience
Our Work Experience can provide a useful insight into publishing. We offer placements throughout the year, depending on the level of demand and the workload within the business.
